MAC board of directors update – March 2026

We’re thrilled to welcome Holly Sikora and Elizabeth Bouchard to the board, and to welcome back Laura Thomas for another term! 🎉

Elizabeth Bouchard

I began training my dogs in agility in 2002 and have competed with Standard Poodles Gina, Boomerang & Whisper in AKC, NADAC, USDAA, UKI and CPE. I’ve also competed with my mini poodle Rocky in AKC, USDAA & UKI primarily. I have
enjoyed teaching Beginning, Intermediate & Masters Agility, Obedience and Foundations in the past and am currently training my next agility dog, Thai Peanut.

I have participated in many MAC show committees (in all the various positions) and have assisted with seminars and other events put on by the club. I have also mentored many new people on show committees.

I have served on the MAC board numerous times in the past holding various positions and look forward to serving again.

Holly Sikora

I’m Holly Sikora & I am so excited to serve on the MAC Board for the first time! I share my life with three wonderful Border Collies: Sophie, Risk, and Lumi. In 2017, I discovered agility with Sophie during an “agility for fun” class, and I’ve been hooked ever since.

I find immense joy in the intricacies of training, whether it’s puppy raising, establishing solid foundations for long-term success in the sport, or mastering the “super sexy” skills. I firmly believe that clarity in agility training builds confidence, which in turn fosters commitment.

I’ve had the privilege of being involved with MAC through various AKC, ISC, and UKI trial committee roles. I’m excited about continuing to promote our sport, especially via educational opportunities for handlers and dogs, regardless of preferred agility organization.

Laura Thomas

My name is Laura Thomas. I’m the current MAC Treasurer and have served on the board since 2019 in a variety of positions.

I’ve been training agility since 2015. I am currently trialing with my four year old beagle, Diggity. I still have Astro (13.5 years old) at home, who is continuing to enjoy his early retirement from everything. I have been involved with UKI and AKC mostly in recent years, chairing the MAC AKC trial for the last several. I look forward to continuing to serve the club in whatever position is necessary.
