Organizations

AKC – American Kennel Club
The AKC provides registration services for pedigreed dogs, along with establishing rules and guidelines for a variety of canine performance events. AKC Agility is limited to purebred dogs.

ASCA – Australian Shepherd Club of America
The Australian Shepherd Club of America provides registration for Australian Shepherds as well as sanctioning programs in obedience, stock dog, tracking, and agility. Sanctioned agility trials are open to any healthy, trained dog.

CPE – Canine Performance Events
CPE is an agility-only organization, and is open to any healthy dog.

NADAC – North American Dog Agility Council
NADAC is an agility-only organization, and is open to any healthy dog.

TDAA – Teacup Dogs Agility Association
TDAA is an agility-only organization, and is open to any small dog measuring no more than 17″.

UKC – United Kennel Club
The UKC provides registration services for pedigreed dogs, along with establishing rules and guidelines for a variety of canine performance events.

UKI – UK Agility International
UKI is an agility-only organization, and is open to any healthy dog.

USDAA – United States Dog Agility Association
USDAA is an agility-only organization, and is open to any healthy dog.

  • What’s New?

    Entries close on May 23 for the June 1-3 USDAA trial. Join us at Fusion Pet Retreat in Minnetonka for fun courses by Francisco Berjon. Grand Prix is Friday evening. Team, Steeplechase, and Biathlon are on the weekend. Also double Jumpers and Snooker.

    The July 6-8 MAC NADAC premium is available. Susan Perry is judging at Soccer Blast in Burnsville. Entries close June 27.

    General Membership meeting will be on July 14 at Soccer Blast. Meeting time TBD, but will be in the afternoon after the AKC trial.

    The July 14-15 MAC AKC premium is available. Random draw period is May 23-June 6. Christie Bowers and John Defilippi are judging at Soccer Blast in Burnsville. This trial is also looking for 1 more volunteer coordinator and an equipment chair. Contact Elizabeth Penning if you want to join the committee.

    The July 27-29 MAC CPE premium is available. Random draw period is June 18-July 3. Kim Stumph is judging at On the Run Canine Center in Ham Lake. Final closing is July 17.

    The September 7-9, 2018 USDAA trial has open committee positions for volunteer coordinator, hospitality, and equipment. Contact B.J. Bowden or Elizabeth Penning if you are interested.

    We have been asked to do agility demos at the Renaissance Festival on September 22-23. Note new date! Get free admission and enjoy a fun day at the festival while running agility with your dog. Contact Julie Heller or Brandi Rogers if you are interested.

    Membership renewals are due on November 1. Renewals received after November 30 will require reapplying for membership.

    New member applications received after September 1 will count towards the next fiscal year.
