Submit your banquet slideshow photos and titles by Friday, Dec 19

If you’re planning to attend the banquet, we’d love to honor your dogs in our awards slideshow

Please submit a photo of your dog and a list of titles earned this year (Nov 1, 2024, through Oct 31, 2025).

Photo guidelines:

  • Action or posed shots are welcome.
  • Name the photo file with your last name and your dog’s name (example: Bornhoeft_Skyler)
  • If you’re submitting a professional photo, you must have the rights to the photo. In other words, you purchased the photo.
  • Ensure that your photo is clear. High-resolution photos taken with your phone are great as long as the file type is jpg/jpeg and the photo is at its original size (not made smaller).

Banquet FAQs

If you’ve never been to a MAC banquet before, here’s some more info that might be helpful:

What happens at the banquet?
We’ll play an icebreaker game, eat dinner, have a short MAC business meeting, show slides of members’ dogs and accomplishments, and honor dogs we’ve lost this year. We’ll announce this year’s winner of the Ruth Van Keuren Sportsmanship award and hand out personalized year-end awards to everyone who earned and claimed one. There’s also a white elephant gift exchange; we’ll provide more details about that soon.

What should I wear?
This is a casual event. No need to dress up!

Will I know anyone?
Probably! Even if you don’t see any familiar faces yet when you arrive, MAC members are a warm and welcoming bunch.

Can you tell me more about the banquet slideshow?
We ask members who will attend the banquet to submit a photo of their dogs and a list of titles or accomplishments for the year. Note that even if you didn’t earn any new titles this year, we’d still love to include your dog and honor their personal accomplishments (examples: first Q, mastered the teeter, still loving the game at age 12, etc.).

We’ll show the slides during the banquet and read through each team’s accomplishments. If you compete with multiple dogs, you’ll have a slide for each dog.

Separately, there’s the Gone but Not Forgotten slideshow during the banquet to honor dogs we’ve lost over the past year. (Bring Kleenexes.) Submission info for each slideshow is listed above.

I’m coming straight from an event. Can I bring my dog?
Yes! Dogs are welcome as long as you bring a crate. There’s a separate space for crating.
